All Games Lag. Any Help?

My mouse moves at normal speed but takes upwards of 30 sec. to highlight options. Games not downloaded from steam (ex. Minecraft) work fine at max settings. New computer, worked fine for 2 months.

Did you try reinstalling Steam? Delete everything in its folder BUT the steam.exe and the steamapps folder and start the exe.

Reinstalled twice but I used the downloader. Does it make a difference?

What is your mouse? If it is a low grade mouse, then you have some problems with the response time of the mouse. Otherwise, please post your PC specs. If you do not know how to, type dxdiag into the search bar in the start menu and open the result. After it has finish loading, click save all information and open the .txt and copy and paste it here (everything).

You are running integrated graphics. It does not play games well. If you are intending to play a lot of games, especially triple A tittles, get a desktop with a discrete graphics card. When buying, make sure you buy one that has either a Geforce or a Radeon labeling on it. For best performance, buy one that has the Geforce GTX 600 series of cards (GTX 660Ti and above for best results) or the Radeon HD 7900 series of cards.
