How do I send multiple gifts at once?

I bought a game plus several DLC items for it. How can I send these to a person all at once without generating an excessive amount of gift messages?

The Trading and Gifting FAQ says "You can give as many gifts as you'd like at one time, but only to one friend per transaction." but does not say HOW to do it.

If it's already in your inventory, you can only send one at a time. As of now, the only way you can send multiple gifts at once is directly through the checkout.

I know this thread is soooo oooollldddd! but it`s one of my friends birthday and I have 4 games I would like to gift to him, would he get like multiple messages or how would it work.

I just bought them cuz they were on sale so I purchased them and put them in my inventory, I can see gift option when I click on the game in my inventory but I am just wondering how would he be getting them if I send them sequentially, I assume he will get the message and will be given an option to accept or deny, so I am guess he will be getting 4 of those requests? or only a notification

it should be a feature, never the less the birthday gifting went according to plan, and my friend understood well how to receive and apply the games to his account, in all honesty thu, I don`t want to sound like a steam fanboy but my experience has been quite pleasant in all the 3 years I Have been using steam, and they keep introducing new stuff every now and then that I am sure soon enough they will be launching a fully capable OS, what I really consider an awesome feature is the family sharing of games. and what I really don`t like is the No-refund policy that of course all of us steam users don`t like.

No. For various reasons they need to be separate transactions.

Actually you can send multiple gifts at once, that is if you're buying them and not gifting from your steam library. By adding multiple items to your steam cart you can gift them all at once at the checkout. I hope this helps a bit, its what I've used this Christmas to gift some games to a friend.
