Steam On Windows RT
Can I get it on Windows RT?

No, Windows RT is a different version that runs only on devices utilizing the ARM architecture, Windows RT is bascially a mobile version of Windows. As such, only RT based applications will run on it.

Steam would have to have a special client just for Windows RT and then every game in their library would also have to have RT support.

Since Windows 8 is such a big deal now and all their mobile tablets will be running Windows RT, maybe you can look forward to a Windows RT version of Steam down the road, but don't expect access to the same librabry of games you do on standard Windows.

Windows RT is more like iOS or Android than it is the regular desktop Windows. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

Note that 'real' Windows 8 tablets are due in 2013. Which you could run Steam on. Though since the graphics cards aren't known yet whether any games would actually work is questionable. Not to mention the pricing is apparently going to be so expensive.

Well Looks like I have to use my old laptop to play games and use Steam. :( I got the new Surface tablet/laptop.

i bought a surface today and to be honest it doesnt have chrome support wtf? wish i could atleast gett steam on it so i can buy games there and have it ready to go on here.
