Can't connect to VAC servers?

When I'm playing Gmod, I repeatedly get kicked off every server after a little while with a message saying: "Could not make a connection to the VAC servers" or something like that. Could anyone help me because I can't play with it like this. Thanks!

Make sure you aren't VAC banned.

yeah... I never really log on when I play becuase it asks me to go to my email for a code every time and it gets annoying.

If asks you the code is to log on steam properly because you have Steam Guard On and you can turn it of, or let Steam remember the password and autologin(it doesn't ask for email code again).

-Maybe you now need validation of SG because you haven't made in a while, try log in once.
-Conection problems?
-Check firewall.
And the last one to try, deleting Steam stuff except steamapps folder and let steam "begin" from 0 again.

I actually just reinstalled steam and now it works XD

Check the required ports, make sure anti-virus isn't blocking it...

Same thing happens to me. I was just playing on a server when my power went out. I rebooted my computer and connected to wifi. I started Garry's Mod and its loading speed was unusual. It was a lot slower. So I joined the server and I play for like a minute. Then it closes out and says can't connect to VAC servers, click here for more info. Please help me with this!

I am having the same issue as well, I am not VAC banned nor is my internet not working but it says that Steam is offline. How do I reconnect to Steam?

Have you tried closing Steam and the log in again?

here's the solution, it worked for me:
Go to the steam folder, and delete clientregistry.blob (FIRST EXTIT TEAM COMPLETELY LOGOUT ETC.)
than restart steam, you'll have to fill in username and password even when you checked the box to remember your password, play on!

hey guys, 2015 here and I'm having this problem a lot still. Just about every time I try to join a server I get kicked immediately with that VAC error message. I'm 100% sure I am not VAC banned. Someone please find a credible solution for this, it interrupts nearly all my games and it really annoys me

You could be VAC banned
