Group invite spam

Hi all. I often come spam invitation to the Steam groups. And an invitation from unknown people. I wanted to ask, this is a mass phenomenon, or I'm just unlucky?

Are you trying to say that you get lots of random invites from groups that you have nothing to do with? It happens to everyone, Groups just send out invites to all steam accounts especially if you have recently played in one of their servers. As for random people the same thing applies. Just ignore them. I get it all the time.

I was most disappointed reaction Support. They they can not do anything with it. Although that is easier to do the "accept invitations from friends only" options in profile.

Im not entirely sure why you would contact support about this, you can just ignore the invites without an issue by clicking the ignore button next to the invite. Remember that all steam groups spam invites to all users as a way of getting new members. Dont worry about it if it doesnt interrupt your gaming.

Steam website is loaded very slowly through Steam , it takes a couple of minutes. What is extremely annoy.

If you are getting bombarded with Steam group invites, please install this userscript[userscripts.org]. Hopefully, if Valve receives enough reports for a particular spammer, they will take action against them.
