How do I access Steam on PS3

Just as my discussion title suggests, I would like to access steam on my PS3, is this possible? Also, if it is possible, will I be able to DL my current PC games to my PS3 or will I have to purchase them all over again?

Uhm, no. Steam (PC) and PSN (PS3) are two entirely different things.

What you can do between the two however is linking your PSN account to your Steam account, and the only promotion I'm aware of is getting a free copy of Portal 2 on your Steam account if you buy it for PS3.

Ah yes, linkiing is what I was talking about. What I am wondering is, if.. for example.. I have paid for and own a game on Steam, on my PC, that is originally a PS3 game, will I be able to download the PS3 version of that game. Once I have linked my accounts.

Sadly, no. The "Buy Portal 2 on PS3 get free copy on Steam" promotion is the only one they've made so far.

Mind you, only PS3 to PC, not the other way around.

Sigh, I was hoping I could use steam on the Ps3, like you can on the iPad and stuff, without having to buy a game that I already have ;-;. I wanted to get the steam deals for games on the Ps3, stuff like GTA 5 which I saw on deals, I don't want to get Gta on the PC but I really want the PS3 version, for various reasons like my friends have the Ps3 version instead of the Pc or whatever, I find it kinda disappointing that without buying a steam-linked game like Portal 2 or Skyrim, both of which I have on the PC, I can't access even the steam community.

no you can't acces them but when i was plaing with my ps4 setings i saw something about livestreaming your steam games is ps4 anyway the games must be ps4 compatible(watch dogs, portal2, gta, far cry....)

to be honest steam really s*ck today
first they global banned me from cs:go for no reason
and now i cant buy things to my dragon ball xenoverse >:[
we need a better site like steam! (but better XD)
