Icons not showing up next to games in library.

I recently formated my HD and when I reinstalled Steam everything was fine except for the fact that there are no icons next to the games on the "Details" view. I know they are not that important but they add a bit of color to an otherwise wall of text.

The only thing I know off is that it takes a long time to load stuff. I had this problem too. If I select a game from my library, a lot of stuff is missing like icons and achievements are loading. But give it a min per game and it should stay like that permanently.

steam stores all the icons and informations about the games you've installed in the appcache folder.

if you have issues to start a game you have to delete this folder. i've done this many times. i own over 290 games - normaly (not at peak time) it takes seconds to fill up the icons again.
