Burnout Paradise Not Saving
Hello.
I bought Burnout Paradise recently when it was on sale. I put about seven hours in it, and it worked fine. Suddenly, it won't save my game anymore. When I start it up, I can load my last actual save, and play as long as I want with no issues, but when I quit the game, the next time I play it will have no memory of the session. Also, when this problem started, it also started forcing me to type in my log in information for the EA servers every time I play. Before, it remembered this information. Does anyone have any idea why it won't save? Thanks.

Sounds like an issue with EA's seperate DRM. :medicon:
I guess you could try verifying game cache integrity:

You could do that but i think i heard that EA stopped having Burnout servers running anymore so basically you can't save or play online unless i am wrong!

I verified the game cache, it didn't help. As for EA shutting down the servers, my brother also bought the game, and he has had no problems at all while playing online.

Hi Guys,
I got it to save progress again, not sure how long it will last. You need to go to you save folder (C:\Users\"your name"\AppData\Local\Criterion Games\Burnout Paradise\Save) and delete the AutoLogin.BurnoutParadiseSave file.

Dont delete the other file as I believe that is your actual save game progress and will probably reset your progress (not tried deleting this myself tho)

I noticed it stopped saving the game when it stopped auto logging me in, so I literally tried deleting this in the last 30 mins, firing the game up, resetting the login, playing a bit then saving and exiting, reloaded and was happy to see it had saved.

I think it will be a case that if it wont auto login when you load the game you need to exit and delete the log in file again to keep it saving. But that is just a guess as I've not tested it further than explained above as yet.

Hope this helps and would be interested to here if this does fix it :)

Actually, I got advice somewhere else to turn off my antivirus software. Once I did that, it saved fine. Thanks anyway.

tested and it is all working again for me with the above fix by deleting that file, prefer to play with the antivirus on myself just incase
