Coupon Not Working - Why?

So I am new to the Steam. I was traded a Shogun 2 coupon by a friend for 75% off the game. However, it's not being reflected at all. According to the coupon info, it should apply the coupon automatically in the pre-purchase screen. I've gone so far as the last screen before confirming purchase and nothing gets applied. The game still sits at $30. The coupon expires...TONIGHT so any help would be appreciated!! Thanks all!!!

Go to your inventory and click what games can be used with the coupon, maybe you are selecting a special edition or something. When I go to the cart it displays the final price with the offer

I have clicked on applicable games, gotten to Shogun 2, and still the coupon is not applied. I've removed it from the cart, restarted steam, checked that I still had the coupon, clicked on it again, and still....nothing.

Thats pretty strange sorry... sometimes coupons dont work well, you should contact valve client attention so they give you another or something

Which one is higher, the coupon, or the Autumm sale going on right now? As they may not stack if over certain discount percentage.

Sorry I notice what one you're talking about, right now the game is 50% off, the coupon you're trying to use is 50%, they will not stack, and it will not use your coupon as Sega is only going to sell it at 50% off, not any higher ATM AFAIK.
