Steam Emoticons not showing in chat window FIX
I found out how to fix your Steam Emoticons not showing in your chat window. First right click your steam icon and go to Settings. After that, go to the "Account" tab and under login as a different user, you should see "Steam Beta participation" Join the beta and restart steam and once you do that you should have Steam Emoticons showing as a tab in your chat window! This also includes the free emoticons without earning any badges such as the smiley face in the tab!
Note:This is the Steam Beta not the Steam Trading Card Beta, they are different.
You must be in and accepted in the Steam Trading Card Beta to get this.

Ah, so that adds the tab itself to the Steam's chat windows? I've just been using the commands, such as : p2blue : -> :p2blue:

They include the default ones too which come free without earning any badges etc
