Hitman Absolution downloading issues

Had it for yesterday but when i went to play it it kept saying Disk IO failure. Uninstalled it and trying to download it again but it keeps pausing itself about 10 seconds after i press resume download.

I tried downloading some other games to check whether it was my internet or steam in general but they all downloaded without an issue, only hitman is causing problems.

Anyone else having this?

Having the same issue also. Had the whole game pre-loaded, tried to run it then this happens.

Deleted game and started downloading again - stuck at 70-ish%

I managed to get it done in the end. sounds ridiculous but i basically just sat there and pressed resume every time it paused itself. After a very long time it stopped doing it.

Im having a problem wherre it has an issue even downloading the game, where it says STEAM ERROR cant reach content servers. Help?

Same here, guys. Steam is usually the best thing ever for my connection (80Mbit) and a joy to download from but I'm on over one hundred resumes for Absolution. Hope the damn thing runs when it's eventually down.

Same problem, already started a support ticket. So far no responce.
