Don't See DOTA2 Badge, Can't get cards?

I have DOTA2, but I'm not seeing the DOTA2 badge in my profile, nor am I getting any trading cards. Is there something I'm missing? Am I supposed to do something first to be able to get DOTA2 cards?

EDIT: This has been answered. You must spend $9 to get a card.

I dont see the CS:GO Badge either, but I dont have that game so im less concerned about that.

i got dota 2 from a friend and instalt it a day after the cards came out and i don't see the card colection for dota 2 badge

If you never spent money in Dota 2 before the card system came out you don't get free card drops, if you did you get 4. The F2P games will give 1 extra card drop per $9 spent in the game.

The badges don't show up till you start collecting cards for them.
