New McAfee Update causing Connection Error FIX

I was logged into Steam when McAfee updated and asked to reboot my computer. After rebooting Steam failed to connect, saying "Connection Error: Could not connect to the Steam network".

I checked the firewall entries for Steam and it claimed that it had full access to the internet. On a hunch I deleted the entries for steam.exe and steamerrorreporter.exe

Steam successfully connected after this.

For those who don't know where the firewall program settings are:
1. Open up McAfee Security Centre
2. Click "Firewall" on the left and then click "Settings" when it shows up on the right
3. Expand the "Internet Connections for Programs" section
4. Sort the list by name and find the two Steam entries (Not sure if you have to delete steamerrorreporter.exe)
5. Delete the entries
6. Start Steam

I decided to post this just in case there were other people out there who were experiencing the same issue.
