Application Hang
Lately all of my games on Steam seem to be running into application hangs, like Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Fallout 3, and others I have played. The application hangs usually happen within the first 10 - 20 minutes. I don't know why this is happening and would hope that there are some recommendations that can be offered to fixed this issue. If it helps, I will copy and paste what I have from Event Viewer:

Fallout3 will hang 'just because' so thats not really a good 'indicator' of anything....

But if you're getting it 10-20 minutes in it could be your CPU/GPU overheating. You may want to look at your temps

Thanks for the response. My GPU (GTX 560 Ti) temps when active usually run between 50C - 60C when active and my CPU (Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700) usually run between 70C - 80C when active. This has even happened when playing Crysis 2 when it is not part of Steam or Origin, and BulletStorm which is on Origin. This has been something that has started happening only within the past couple weeks so I have been downloading malware and registry cleaner software to see if that works and so far it looks like no luck. A lot of forums I have been reading seem to go unresolved, even when uninstalling/reinstalling programs. I have downloaded new nVidia graphics card drivers and drivers for my motherboard just in case, which did not work either. I may try to do a Windows repair, but I am trying to avoid a clean OS install.
