Steam links break Google Chrome...

Almost every time that I click a link from my Steam window, from game news, front page or even from chat, Chrome comes up with only a light-blue screen. Nothing comes up at all. This only happens through Steam. I cannot refresh the page, go to a new site, or even click a bookmark. I can't do anything until I close Chrome and start it again.

This bug is very frustrating. Does this happen to anyone else? This needs to be fixed.

A friend has this same bug. Also using chrome. I can't share the funnies with him!

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Hope to see a fix soon! I might just switch browsers because of this problem alone. Maybe I should consult Google for help on this.

well in the meantime, you can copy the link, open a new chrome then paste the link into the search-bar. This is what I do whenever I get this bug

Is your Chrome up to date?
If unsure, open Chrome, click the settings button in upper-right corner, click About Google Chrome. From there it will check for updates and apply latest version if it not already.

If the update fails and results in error, update it via the Chrome website, by clicking Download, which will simply reinstall it. It will not wipe out your current settings, history, cookies, etc. > https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

I've stopped using Chrome now because it's bad.
