Why does Steam Keep Disconnecting Me?

Hello, everyone. For the past 4-5 days, Steam has continually disconnected me, while playing Black Ops 2, every 10-15 minutes, especially during a match. When it does this, and I check the main page, it does not say "No Connection" at the bottom, like it usually would, when Steam is having issues, so why is it doing this? I am fully connected to the internet, when this happens, so it's not my ISP/Modem shutting down. I have asked people online, if they have the same problem, and they reported that they don't. This has been happening since the last update Steam did, which is automatic, and everyone should be affected, but it's just me. Not even my friend, who lives near me, is having the problem. And I doubt it's Treyarch, because It's Steam saying "You have been disconnected from Steam". If it's a Steam Sever issue, why is it just me affected? This is not right, that they relase buggy updates.

I know what you mean - whenever I launch Steam, I also have to login to the Community now, and I haven't been able to install anything for days due to loss of connection to the servers. The installation processes try to reach out, then fail, every time. I'd assume that the issues are related.

Midnight, you're VAC banned, aren't you?

Black Ops 2 runs on VAC protected servers.
Is it possible you've been VAC banned from BO2?

(Although, it'd be weird you could join to begin with.)

If you feel something's broken with client, you can remove clientregistry.blob and restart Steam
If you feel something's broken in the game, you can verify integrity of game cache under Properties -> Local Files.

Yes, Teutep, I'm banned, from MW3. My Black Ops 2 account is fine, though. I haven't used any kinds of prestige cheats, or anything on this game. Everything is legitly earned. My VAC ban status is still only for MW3, I checked. Steam better not do such a thing, as to ban me from a game I didn't use a cheat on. Anyway, I will try what you said... And to the other gentleman: It may be related, but I don't think so. I just hope they fix this soon.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Steam also doesn't remember my information anymore. Every login, I check the box to remember my Account Name & Password, but it doesn't remember it. :/ So many problems, man.
