If you right click the game in the library there could be an option that says key...
The only thing it says when regarding key when I right click is "View CD Key". If I click on that or if I click on "Play" it comes up with a box that says I need a key to play the game. It hangs on "requesting key" and does not generate a key.
I have tried playing it...Ubisoft does all the updates and patches and then installs Uplay. I have registered an account but I obviously cannot play the game as I don't have a key. Really frustrating.
Check your email to see if the key was sent there.
Good idea but have checked my transaction emails and there is no mention of a key. Even checked my spam folder in case it has landed up there but still nothing. Guess I'm just going to have to wait for Steam to do their thing. When you spend 40 quid on a game you expect to at least be able to play it. I have 3 days off from work starting on Wednesday so hopefully this issue will be sorted by then.
Thanks Man, your suggestion cleared up my problem with HOMM6. I had the same problem as Saturn, put in a ticked several days ago (still no reply), but I did exactly what you said in the order you stated, fired up HOMM6 and the main game was finally unlocked. Sad that the community responds way faster than Steam itself does, my fondness for the company is losing a lot of luster but the community is spot on. Thanks again.
