C++ Runtime Error Issue!
Hey Guys :)
I Installed Counter Strike 1.6 and Counter Strike:CZ perfectly but when i started the game(CZ in this case) the following error comes up:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

C/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/half-life/hl.exe

Abnormal File Termination

I have tried adding all redist files i.e 2005,2008 and 2010 versions respectively.Also tried shutting explorer.exe but still to no avail.Also i have tried re-installing both the games as well.

Please tell me steps what all I need to do resolve this problem.

Mine is an old PC having Windows XP SP2.

Waiting for a solid answer that will really help me fix things up :)

Thanks to All!

Hope this get answered properly :D

Thanks guys but my problem was sorted! Actually the problem lies in OpenGL mode...I have to first run CS through non steam in software mode and then change it to OpenGL after opening STEAM :)

That Microsoft Visual C++ thingy upsets my offline playing of Skyrim every now and then. I have Win7 + SP1

I found the problem, it was in resolution. U have to change resolution to OpenGL. It will be automatically done if cs is opened in safe mode or u can manually change it in options of cs.
