KOTR, Empire at War Not Working

If I go to a store to purchase something, I expect that it will work. It's disappointing to purchase a set like this and have three of the games not working. KOTR should already have solutions to the problem...posted and supported by Steam. Empire at War should have no problems with "codes."
I emailed support and let them know that they should be the ones fixing this - and that a REFUND should be provided to all users, should a solution not be found within 48 hours.
Why sell an item at a store if it doesn't work? They should expect to issue refunds...

I recently bought Empire at War it is not working at all. I can't even get past the launcher, and it really makes me mad that I bought a broken game. It's stupid that this would happen.
