[Help requested]Installing HUD + mods in TF2

Hello there, I am bit fusturated on the new way of installing mods + HUDs, for they have not been working for me. This is not my first time installing mods and other stuff, but after the SteamPipe update, it's left me stumped.
This is what my tf/custom folder looks like as of now:

(Sdx-2013 is garm3n hud)
I followed people instructions on how to install these mods, searched high and low for an answer, but no luck yet. I'm hoping to find help here.
