Friends History

Just yesterday someone said they were going to pay me paypal if i gave them my item so i did. but instead of paying me, they just ran away and left. I need help finding him so is there a possible chance where i can find my friends list history? and if i do find him can u guys help me report him? Thanks. Please help as soon as possible

I'm not gonna report something I've not witnessed, in addition to that, it's outside the Steam's trading system, so it's not like it was a recommendable trade to begin with.

Had the exact same problem, this helps it greatly!
1) Open Steam
2) Under Your name select "Activity"
3) At the top select "My Activity"
4) There it will say "Max the bunny is friends with (user), (userx), (userz)
It will say when you friended them, in order and theyre username so you can find them!

everything that does not fit in one trade window is 99% of the time a scam, hope for you you din't gave them to much caus steam ain't gonna bann them if you don't got a lot of screenshots from the trade it self.

If it's someone who you played a game with then yea you can track that person down but if it's someone random from a chat or broadcast then you're most likely out of luck. If you do catch that scammer though, screenshot the profile and post it on another discussion as a warning to anyone else who could end up in your position. Scammers need to pay and learn their lesson. My opinion is all.
