How to post screen shots in the discussion forums?
I'm trying to post a screen cap in the discussions, but am not finding any info on HOW?
Sorry if this is a repost, but I couldn't get anything from the google.

If your screenshot is uploaded on your Steam profile, just paste the direct link to it.

Thank you for that. When I do it though, it only posts a link to the photo.
I've seen plenty of people post the actual pic in the forum, but still havn't figured out how to do that.

posting the picture as thumbnail instead of only the link seems to be a science. if i only paste the url this is what happens:

I need some help with this also. Tried pasting it to discussion page, but only got the link. If someone could explain it to me in a little more detail, it would be much appreciated.

This works for me in the steam client,

Find the screenshot then right click and select copy page url.

you want the url that ends in

/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id= then the id number

for instance I click on the link above and copy the page url then paste it, this is what I get:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=464581729

A direct link should work. As an example, the text pasted below gave this:

But can you post a screenshot taken with the Print screenshot button on windows?

You can upload it to your Artwork section, it's treated the same as Screenshots.
