Drag Pics/Gifs into chat?
Instead of constantly linking pictures or gifs, we can drag photos from our computer to the friend chat and only friend chat. I expect this to get out of hand with group chat rooms. The pictures will automatically resize to fit the chat box but can be expanded when the user enlarges the box. What are your thoughts on this? Should Valve implement this? I think that there will be several problems with this but I haven't thought of them yet.

No, I don't think Valve should implement this. Third party websites, such as Imgur, can be used to share pictures.

In addition to this, adding a file transfer system to Steam is just asking for malicious people to send files that "Give free Steam games".
