AMD 7700 hd series framerate drop

Hello fellow Steamers, I really hope you can help me with this delicate matter.

I have been experiencing problems with some games (Far Cry 3 (and Battlefield 3)), after I bought a new computer around 6 months ago. As it seems, my framerate drops heavily when I play for around 5 mins from 60-100 on medium-high setting to around 10-20. I have been searching far and wide on, and beyond, the yonders of the internet, but I can't seem to find a solution. I really hope you can help me.

I have:
* AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor
* 8 gb ram
* AMD Radeon 7700 HD series 2 GB
* Windows 7 64-bit operativsystem

I have tried:
* Lowering graphics (Doesn't matter, framerate still drops on high and low)
* Disable Vsync, AA, AoC
* Tried both DirectX 9 and 11 in Farcry 3, did not help.
*ALL drivers are fully up to date. Cataclyst is currently version beta 13.3, and the framerate drop also happened in the nonbeta version.
* Switched power from "balanced" to "high performance".

As it seems, alot of AMD-cardusers have the same problem, but I really hope any of you can help with this, as it have gone on for a while now. I do not now a lot about computers, but any idea/solution/notion/anything is very appreciated.

More hardware information, your mainboard and cpu configuration ?

Well, again, I am not good at computers: AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor. How do I check my cpu-configuration? Are you thinking of overclocking? I will add the inforamtion in the post, cheers.

There is no need for overlclocking your cpu, it´s good enough.The problem is not your hardware, must be something else.

So it seems, but the undoubtedly provoking question is what that might be? Anybody got any ideas?
