On the first line there will be : screenheight="1200" screenwidth="1600"
Change it to what you want. 1080p is actually supported. In game it will show as 1024x768 but it is actually 1920x1080!
Any chance you know how to adjust FOV or extend the Zoom??
I've got it nice at 1920x1200 but am running, would like too, Eyefinity Triples.
When I set it to 5760x1200 its zoomed way in, my nose is almost on the ground.
Thanx..
PS: Have you tried to change the number of zoom levels in the options?
Just won't let me zoom OUT far enough. The world isn;t stretched at all, the hud is tho. Still looks decent, just unplayable that close.
Actually, you can, there is solution on WGSF.
Copy from WGSF:
FOV Update:
Method: Config file editing to set custom resolution and console command to fix FOV.
1. Go to My Documents\SpellForce2 folder, open config.xml using any text editor, find the following strings:
Code:
screenheight="XX" screenwidth="XX"
and set them to whatever you want. For example:
Code:
screenheight="1050" screenwidth="1680"
2. Start a game, then bring the console by pressing Ctrl + ] and type(case sensitive):
UI:SetCameraFOV(0.94) for 16:10
UI:SetCameraFOV(1.027) for 16:9
This will make the game Hor+, however, the cutscenes will remain Ver-
But your interface will be terrible stretched
Bingo! ....Thanx alot.
Not sure if you caught what I want to run it at, 5760x1200. Thats 3x 1920x1200 (16:10).
3 x 16:10 = 48:10, reduce it; / 2 = 24:5 ..you get the Idea? REALY wide, 6 feet even.
Thanx for the console, dunno why I could not find that and the FOV comand.
AND I am on WSGF. Nothing there when I checked.
I am just hoping the FOV will go far enough w/o breaking and the interface then might be the unusable part. <sigh>
I will post a screen shot of my best case.
Thanx again.
Because i set up the resolution for 1920x1080, it's looking better but still "stretched".
