i have recently received a steam code for borderlands 2 and i made sure every letter was correct and it still says incorrect not used incorrect

how did i receive it u ask. from a friend who already had it on steam and was given one by gearbox for his support and some work he did for them. that is what i was told

no he took the the code copy and pasted it in the email

a common problem with copy pasted keys is spaces in front or after the key that may slip in during the paste, it's also possible he missed a letter while copying it.

there is exactly 25 numbers or letters just like a borderlands 2 code should have (foundthat out by using the support page) and he did the copy and paste again making sure of no spaces before or after

there are 25 characters? Aren't steam keys only 15 characters? or was that a typo?
