Steam doesn't seem to work
Hi, I can't just launch Steam. I click it and it seems like loading, but nothing else happens. And when I try to start a game, it says rungameid application not found. I tried to delete everything except steam.apps and steam.exe, and when I try to re-install it it says I need to be connected to a network. I tried to repair it downloading steam and selecting the repair option, and it's exactly the same. ♥♥♥♥♥♥¿? Any help would be very helpful, but I think that was obvious xD

Do not move anything over until the issues have proven to no longer occur.
Alright, I will do so, so I just start Steam. If everything is ok, I copy and paste my files. Thanks, I'll do it tomorrow and see what happens.

i am having this same exact issue. steam will not open at all for me says i need internet connection which i have. help!!! please.

Thanks a lot Fred. And you, well I deleted evertything and reinstalled it. But do not delete Steamapps. Now it seem to be working alright.
