Have had to open a payment dispute to try and get my money back as these guys sell Russian steam keys that won't work with normal steam keys. They expect you to break the Steam terms of service by using a VPN to circumvent the region locking of the keys. They operate a no refund policy just look at their terms and conditions and you'll see it clearly there. I wouldn't use them if they were the last company on earth selling games. I urge you to stay away from them.

Purchased a "region-free" "english" version of Black Ops II. It was neither region free, nor was it english. It was the polish region, playable only in Polish. Well that is, unless you copy the english copy of a working version. They promised treyarch/valve was working on a fix, spoke to both and verified they were not, and it was against the terms of service to play the polish or russian version outside of the respective countries. Do not buy from them, they are bait and switch scam artists.
Ill just pay a few extra bucks to steam and avoid the hassle, thanks guys
Yeah, I saw they have like everybody in there family posting "good reviews" about them. I admit while I always look for a good deal, something didnt seem legit about them*I was googling for when the next steam sale might be lol*
Some people like gamersgate.com I'm not a fan but maybe you will like it.
And there is desura.com if you like indie games and simple mod support
1) Legit sites don't look like someone barfed up some canned website code onto a Word document
2) If you search their support site and see "VPN" anywhere, RUN! It is not legit.
3) Does the site sell gold or items for MMOs? Not legit.
4) Is EVERYTHING on the site priced 'too good to be true'? Not legit. Sure steam or GMG have lots of cool sales that are very attractive. But again these are temporary. It's not like BF3 is on some kind of permanent 70% off sale. And BF3/BO2/Skyrim/MW3 shouldn't ALL be 70% off at the same time.
Amazon sells credits and item packages for many of their free to play titles through Game Connect. As does Steam. This isn't necessarily an indication that they aren't legitimate.
There is a big difference between this http://imgur.com/Lfwqq2Q and this http://imgur.com/F78vMKf
Hopefully you can see the difference.
Anyone with experience in video gaming should be able to tell the difference between a promotional package deal and gold selling.
Price isn't everything.
While there are some games (e.g. Borderlands 2, Skyrim) that use the "Steamworks" DRM to utilize all of Steam's features (achievements, cloud storage, etc.) and have to be activated through the client, there are other games for which Steam activation is optional (most indie games are this way).
Direct2Play is not one such website. It is against the Steam Subscriber Agreement (SSA) to use VPN's to trick the system to activate a game the publisher has region-locked. Therefore, as others have advised, steer clear of any website that instructs you to do so.
Some popular legitimate websites include Amazon, Green Man Gaming (GMG), Gamersgate (which is normally very well regarded and has excellent customer service except for when they have massive price glitches and then decide to violate EU consumer law and their own ToS by forcibly refunding your money, or in my case not refunding at all (but I expect and hope that's only b/c there so backed up with support tickets at the moment)), Gamestop, Gamefly, Get Games Go, and several indie bundle websites (e.g. Indie Royale, IndieGala, IndieGameStand, and perhaps the most popular- Humble Bundle).
This market of Steam-activatable keys exists mostly to draw people into the Steam environment and spend money on additional games here. Valve distributes virtually unlimited numbers of keys whenever publishers or developers request them as a reward for having their game in the Steam store, for free, because they believe it to be a net benefit for them, as it draws in more people bound to Steam. It's easier to get people to spend money once they already have an account than to convince them to set one up.
The problem they've recently faced is that these other sites are frequently selling these keys for much less than Valve charges through the Steam store, and they already have quite a large and dedicated customer base, so the equation has shifted a bit. They may soon begin asking for a percentage for each key distributed or activated (as many Steam users currently mistakenly believe is the case). They have recently taken action to shut down several large and very helpful groups (i.e. Hookups, Traders Guild) that point their members to sales on these websites. Please bear in mind that that's not to say the keys or websites are not legit- they are, in fact Valve made their businesses possible in the first place. It's just that now they appear to be less lenient about facilitating such competition through their own community, which is understandable (although transparency and a warning would have been appreciated).
Anyway I digressed a bit, but I hope I've give you enough of a backstory to convince you that not quite all deals are too good to be true, and that Steam is not always the best place, ironically, to buy Steam games. A great portion of my library was built up through the likes of Amazon, GMG, and Humble Bundle, and I hope you take some time to look into what they have to offer too to get the best experience from Steam and the very most bang for your buck.
Do as me. NEVER purchase games from any other site except Steam (unless it's an official site, like squareenix.com).
