Suspicious file Infinst.exe when trying to launch games

Hi iv had this problem on the mafia 2 demo and sniper elite v2 demo. Both times Bullguard picks them up and the game doesnt work.

Can anyone help?

That file is not suspicious normally unless it is infected. It should be run just once to install drivers for your intel chipset. Sounds like your drivers are not installed properly for your system.

I got a new comp with bullguard and the first thing i saw was infist.exe is suspicious so it quarintined it. I now can't find my quarintine stuff :c

No, it is a legitimate file/process. What ever anti virus or malware program you are using may be giving a false positive...

It seems to be extracted files from when you installed directx. At least that's what it looks like on my pc.
