Dota2 items tradable after x days what happen?

this is my first time purchasing dota2 chest keys,it says tradable after couple of days why do I need to wait this many days? and when will I not have to wait?

i just brought few keys n opened treasure..i need to wait for a week to trade my items..what kind of policy is this..by the way iam using a debit card...x_X

Same goes for me. However, I have always been able to trade my keys right away, until now.

dude im more sad . i want buy compendium book ..because of lag i buy 3 book.wtf..so i want make refund or any item ..then i go report to vavle and valve cant do anyting because using debit card..OMG so waste my money and this book says tradable after 14 may..btw west qualifier prediction 2 days more..sory if my english suck..btw its so waste !!!

Guys, I made a couple of small purchases on my account like 2-3 months ago, so I should be labled 'trusted', and yet I cannot sell any of my items. Why is this?
Maybe if you equip the item once (and then ofc unequip it again) it is impossible to get it traded ever?

"Trusted" only applies to trading

The MARKET has entirely separate cooldowns including

30 day - 365 day cooldown for having made a recent purchase on steam
15 day cooldown for haivng SteamGuard enabled
7 day cooldown if you change your payment method
