AMEX payment in Brazil

Well, you changed all brazilian users to the new store in local currency (BRL) but this had a side effect, at least for the AMEX users of the store.

Now, even using paypal, I can't buy using my AMEX card. That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, in the original store I could buy with it and now I can't?

Hope this will be temporary, otherwise I'll just keep my current games and don't buy another one.

You might want to give the specific errors you are getting. Not working doesn't help anyone fox the issue. Do you have the issue only via PayPal or paying directly with Amex. Is the Amex registered in Brazil?

There's no AMEX option to choose as payment method in the checkout and in the paypal it always ask me to add the credit card already added.

Anyway thanks for the tip on how to behave in the forum (no ironic).

Steam in REAL is a joke. Removed as payment - Amex, click and buy, games valued at more than USD all in exchange for "boleto bancário" old system and horrible.
Not to mention the illegal fee of $ 1.50 per "boleto bancário"

Amex is my only payment method and I'm from Brazil. I want to buy GTA IV now because I'll get the weekend deal but can't. Why take out AMEX option? Please fix it before I loose GTAIV weekend deal.

Folks, please ask your friends to support this discussion by posting their indignation here. The AMEX option is vital and we should make sure Steam understands this.

Same problem here! Amex is my only payment method and if it's not added to the payment options i'll just stop buying from steam. OR put a option for the international payment back.
