broadband connection requirement

I got a few games for the kids that they can t play because of a broadband internet connection requirement; they are on a wireless network because it's too much to have cat cables installed all over the place. We are all disappointed to find out a great gift I got for them has this requirement. Is there any way around this issue ? Thanks

Is your connection not FioS or Cable? If it is how is your wireless network that terrible that it doesn't support broadband speeds?

I have a broadband connection to my router which is bridged to a wireless; the speeds are fine they dl 4 gb and 7 gb games and updates 4+ mbs ( just checked) but games such as Primal Carnage fail to start and the broadband connection requirement seems to be the only cause preventing the game start when troubleshooting
