suggestions for games to try!!

so i just got a new gaming computer and i dont know what to play. i like the ARMA series. i like a lot of first person shooters that arent call of duty. I love games like Fallout and Rainbow Six (no relation, i know). For story based games, i like Indigo Prophecy and Alan Wake. I wanna see where this will go with the suggestions. lastly, theres the GTA series. thanks

max payne 3, dead island, deadlight, sleeping dog, for a story based game i would say the walking dead. guild wars 2 but it's not on steam( looks great ) and the bioshock games.

Borderlands 2. One of the best games I ever played, and judging by your preferences, you will dig it, too. 250 hours in it (mostly with just one character) and still not really done with it.

if you like GTA with batman AC fighting style try sleeping dogs sweet sweet game worth checking out its the old'' true crimes: streets of l.a'' guys that made the game so thats best info i can give you on sleeping dogs the other game i whould say play right now is metro 2033 great game and will get you wanting last light

ive also played the true crime series, borderlands 2 and metro 2033. im not even sure what to look for. i got Amnesia and its decent. i want something either really story driven. I also loved LA Noire. that game was amazing

how about any indie games. like survival horror/adventure.(by indie, i mean like developers that funded the games themselves, not flash like games)

Resident Evil 5 isn't half-bad and fits with the other games you've enjoyed. Pretty inexpensive now, too. The Witcher 1 and 2 have great stories and combat isn't so bad after getting the hang of it. Great atmosphere and very cheap now.

Personally, I dug up NWN2 (had bought it when it was still sold at Steam) since I haven' played the two expansions. Having fun with that. (Like you, I went through that "I wanna play something, but nothing appeals." phase for a bit.)

I would say Bioshock series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series (similar to Fallout 3), Deus Ex: Human revolution has a big detective story and for indie game if i am not mistaken Slender has a new name "Haunt the real slender game" you can google it and download for free its still in devlopment but youll crap all over your chair lol.

the problem is that ive played alot of these games and many more that arent listed. thats why i cant decide/find something i want to play. the stalker series looks interesting but it seems kind of outdated.
