If u want them to open within Steam Client, then u have to do your browsing all from within Steam Client.

1. First copy whole url from your browser (Chrome, Firefox, w.e.)
2. Press WinKey+R to open the Run window.
3. Type "steam://openurl/" and insert URL with Ctrl+V
4. Press Enter, and your link should open in your Steam client =D

Never use Steam to view links that are outside of Steam!!!
As that is a 100% un-secure browser it is using folks.
links to the community is not outside Steam.
I mean, that goes for clicking anything anywhere. In Steam, Chrome, Firefox, etc. Watch where you go or accept the risk.
