Can this pc run heavy games?
I'm going to buy a new laptop/notebook soon and I just found one but I do not know if it is able to run games like Far Cry 3, COD, and other games like that (games that need good computers), with an acceptable level of FPS. Could you guys tell me if this laptop will do fine and maybe tell me how much FPS it will get?

ACER Aspire V3-571G-73636G50MAKK
Processor: Intel Core i7-3632QM 2,2 GHz
RAM: 6GB
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M 1GB
Uses Windows 8

Thanks!

You should be fine to run those games mate on med settings at least, maybe even high with AA turned down or off etc.

That chipset is more suited to multimedia tasks not gaming.

FarCry3 will be a slide show. If you're talking original COD fine newer games in the series may require lesser settings,
Read what to expect here. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-630M.63761.0.html

Funny, I got nearly the same computer. The one I got was an Aspire V3-771G-9456. Intel Core i7-3632QM 2.2 Ghz, 6gigs RAM, 17.3inch screen, and GeForce GT 640M. It's pretty cheap (<$800) on newegg, and it can run Skyrim on high with no problems.

Well, it probably will, but I would strongly suggest looking for one with at least a 640M if you can afford it. I actually can't find the one you stated with a 630M, so it might be older. Where are you shopping from?

Dang, it's expensive there. I'm not sure if that's just region pricing though. But the one you're looking at looks good, unless you can find a V3-771G-9456 for not too much more. But I think you should be able to play most recent games relatively easily.
