DualShock 4 Compatible games
I know anything beyond kb&m is blasphemy but for those that are curious I figured I would start a list of games that work. I just started and so far I have

Rayman Legends
Dead Space 1
Dead Space 2
Devil May Cry (new)

Please add if you come across anything else.

Dualshock 4 will just appear to Windows as a generic gamepad, so any game with rudimentary gamepad support will work. There's no need to make a list.

I found many games that are controller enabled did not work.

Note no games are dualshock compatible. Since dualshock is not Xinput compatible.

I haven't had any work yet. Everylast one I have tried does nothing. Except some weird stuff in Valve games, Portal 2 and L4D2.

Yes it is. You can walk into any gamestop here in the US and buy one.

The question is redudnant.

The controller is nto Xinput compatible

Therefore go to whatever website you're using to hack Xinput into the controller. Posting a list is pointless. Go to Xpadder or x360ce instead.

Yes, the PS4 controller will be PC friendly, it is been a known fact for awhile now. Cheers

Sorry, wrong

Ok I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. I did not know that the DS4 was intending to ship with Xinput support. Might give hope to those using that terrible MotionInJoy junk

But then a list is still pretty redundant. Either the drivers are Xinput compatible or theyre not. Its still silly to make a list of compatible games, since as long as the drivers work, everything that uses Xinuput should work.

If you're going to make a list make a list of incompatibilities since that list is likely a lot smallwr

MotionInJoy works fine for most people and you don't have to use it online like most people think.

Retail availability: November 15th 2013. You're likely mistaking it for Dualshock 3. Why would they be selling Dualshock 4 controllers before the PS4 is available?

It's not shipping with Xinput support, nowhere in the article does it say that:

"Joystiq, which noticed the Tweet yesterday afternoon, points out that many non-Microsoft controllers show up as Xbox controllers on a Windows PC because they have the Xinput API, which the DualShock 3 lacks. Yoshida didn't go into more detail on how the DualShock 4 registers to a PC, or what functions it will have out of the box."

Since Xinput is a proprietary Microsoft API, it's highly unlikely. The articles site "basic functionality" which likely means it will show up as "generic gamepad" like every other non-Microsoft console controller. It would be nice if it did comply with Xinput standards but nowhere does it say anything of the sort.

Edit:
Just saw an article today that said Amazon started shipping them so, apparantly they ARE selling them before the console is released. From reading the user comments, the controllers are NOT Xinput, so you would still need 3rd party 360 controller emulation software as with the DS3. The PS4-specific features such as the trackpad do not work at all on PC (yet).

They are not Xinput, as they only show up as generic wireless controllers. And they are selling them before the launch of the system so that retailers have a bit of an easier day when the system launches so that people have picked up their games and accessories ahead of time. (The games are supposed to come out a few days before the system.) Because there is no system to play them on, nothing has street dates. Which means retailers can sell them upon arrival.

If it's not Xinput then you're screwed.

Avoid Motion In Joy like the plague

Just get a wired/wireless xbox controller or a Logitech F310/F710

I'd sooner take out a billboard in Time Square and post all my personal and online information on it, than use MotionInJoy
