is it ok to host a CoD server using the same server files on a different computer?

my clan wants to host a new CoD: WaW server.

is there a way for a single person to both host and play the game? admin decided to use a different computer for hosing but apearntly he will require to get 2 copies of the game to both host and play?

is there a way to avoid this kind of problem? copying the server files and pasting them into the hosting computer can be enough?
