Skyrim DLC Problem PLEASE HELP!!!
So I downloaded Skyrim after buying it from steam a while back. It was my first elder scrolls game so I wanted to play the rest. So, to save me the trouble of getting everything seperately, I bought the elder scrolls anthology, which comes with Skyrim Legendary edition. (All DLC) So I then put Legendary Edition disc in, which would have installed all the DLC to my regular game save. But it only installed dawnguard. I have checked my Program files, and only dawnguard is there. I clicked on "data files" on the skyrim startup window, and still only dawnguard is there and ticked. I even reinstalled the game, which only came up with an error message, "1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired" Where are Dragonborn and Hearthfire? Nothing is popping up in-game either, like the cultists or the courier with the Hearthfire letter. It has only worked for Dawnguard for whatever reason.

Did you enter your serial code(s) from the Anthology pack into Steam, as to register it with your Steam account?

No. I didn't think I would have to, since dawnguard worked absolutley fine. But if I wanted to try this, where would I find this serial code and where would I enter it? Sorry to be a bother.

Well, if I understood correctly you first bough Skyrim on Steam, then you decided to get the Legendary Edition on disc. So at the moment you're only able to access the content you bought on Steam becuase the game "doesn't know" you own the dlc.

To activate your legendary edition on Steam, click "add a game..." in the lower left of the Steam client. Then click "Activate a Product on Steam...". This is where you enter the serial code (or serial codes if there are more than one) for your game. You'll usually find this code at the lower back of the manual or in some cases on a sticker inside the case. DLC can sometimes be found on separate loose pages in the case along with the manual.

Hope that helps.
