MW2 HELP PLEASE: How do I stretch 800x600 or 640x480 on a 16:9 resolution? (No black borders)
Hello, I've recently got a new laptop. I installed MW2 on it and was trying to change the resolution to a much lower resolution (I love higher FPS over fancy graphics), but I wasn't able to force it. I've tried changing the different rations (auto, 4:3, 16:10, 16:9), and too no end did it help. I remember the first time I installed MW2 on my previous machine, I had the same problem but was able to fix it via advice from Steam I believe. Problem is, I can't seem to find the exact forum. I spent about an hour searching google. My native resolution is 1920x1080, but I was trying to force 800x600 in MW2. It worked, but I get those ugly black bars on the side. My question is: what's the trick to fill my screen when using a lower resolution? I know there's a way to do it (I did it on my old computer, which had the same graphics card). I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere else. Thanks

P.S: I'm using an Intel HD 4000 graphics card. I've tried updating the drivers but my computer's manufacturer won't me. I want to fill the entire screen (no black boxes on the left and right side)
