How do i view comments?

In the top right corner it says 1 new comment, so i click on it. And it ust brings me back to the general discussions area? How can i find my origional post?

You can view comment history by mousing over your name (in the top of the Steam client) and clicking "Activity" > "My Comment History".

If you weren't brought to a specific thread/post it may have been deleted by a mod. Looking at your past posts, you don't seem to have any.
