Playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

It has been sum time since playing this game. I understand I am required to log on to steem to play.

Last time I was advised to go to library and from there click on play to play the game, this worked.

However it seems the web site has changed and dispite searching through the web pages I can not find an icon to play the game. I would appreciate any advice.

You have to play through the Steam Client. You can't play steam games through a browser

Right click MW2 on Steam library > create desktop shortcut.

Background information: I first bought a retail copy of game. This would not run. This is why my desktop icon does not work Laptop65, though I really wish it would. I do appreciate your time and imput Laptop65, to try to resolve the problem.

I was advised via this forum to download the game from the web site, which I did. Then play game after loging into site via the library. This worked though it would be almost a year ago.

I have not found steam client or Library on this web site. Is it in a drop down box some where. I would appreciate the idiots guide to navigating this web site. It is a pity I can not play it is a great game. Enjoy yourselvs.

When you go to the Steam website, it says Install Steam on the top right. Next to the login. Really can't miss it.
