Apparently you can't change it perminantly since Steam automatically determines your region, but you can trick it into showing different currencies by adding "?cc=us" or whatever region to the end of the URL.

For example...
http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=us
http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=uk

Well.. when I opened the UK Steam store and tried to buy a game it says "Your purchase could not be completed because it looks like the currency of funds in your Steam Wallet does not match the currency of this purchase.". From what I understood is that steam games show in dollars and your wallet funds are in Russian rubles, so if you opened the Russian steam store it should work.

Sorry if I misunderstood what you said.
Also, how come it's against the rules.. I've *Tried* reading all of the steam subsciption agreement and couldn't find this, can you show me which term?

Cross region buying is against the rules because it undermines regional restrictions, doesn't take reading the SSA to know that. Pure common sense.

Not that common since steam doesn't allow you to change your wallet's currency..

I'm sure you can, just contact support and state your claims of how your steam store doesn't accept w.e. currency that is most common in your region. Support will surely fix it for you.

As I said "Steam doesn't allow you to change your wallet's currency". That's why it isn't "Pure common sense".

Isn't Ukraine part of the CIS region as far as video games go?
