Steam closing down all my other processes/exits to desktop after starting a game?
This started recently but whenever I open a game, it exits me out of all my other windows that's open at the time: "opera, discord, etc". I can't seem to find anyone experiencing the same issue with a google but does anyone know anything about this?

Could it possibly be related to Razer Cortex? https://www.razer.com/cortex
Heard from some users that in order to free up RAM or to ensure optimal gameplay performance, this program will shutdown other things running on your laptop.

Also, sometimes simply updating Steam and other programs (like Discord) to their respective latest versions will resolve various issues. If you haven't already done so, then it's at least worth a try. Hope that helps, good luck!

hello

funny to see that if our OP is really use this ♥♥♥♥, that so many users can think that adding a program as a background process that is consuming ressources ( cpu+ram) will boost their performance xd

all the games i've played after the issue's been happening were able to run great prior, but it seems it's not just games limited to steam so it might not even be steam doin this
