You can always manually check what a games requirements and recommended are on their store page to see. I would say it's safe to assume you can run almost all games on Windows 10
It is still an option. I upgraded last month on one PC and 3 days ago on another. The 3rd had a Win 7 key I upgraded to Win 10 and then 11 just yesterday.
I'm making the move to 11 and I hate it, for the most part.

It's tough to gauge what is a global issue with so many users (around half a billion for Windows 11 alone) and so many hardware variations, not to mention the different builds of being pushed out to different subsets of users, and the different third party software and (more crucially) drivers installed before upgrading.
Pick some Windows 11 features that work perfectly fine for you, then go and check the Microsoft Feedback Hub. You'll find many bug reports and 'loud' complaints about them, even for things like Notepad. That's the reality of a product this large and international.
I've been on /r/windows11 for years too, and it's common to see problems that only affect some users, but their numbers are often large and their voices 'loud'—even if the percent affected is small.
It's fairer to say that "Windows 11 *might* run worse after an upgrade" because, for most users, it runs fine. If you search the sub I just mentioned, you'll find people who've had no issues at all in the comments of almost all submissions about upgrade issues. I upgraded in 2021, stuck with it for a year, and did a clean install after getting a new M.2 drive. Honestly, I didn't notice any difference.
I have no reason to lie to you. I try to avoid being one of the resident contrarians here.
Obviously I can't know if it really happens because of it, but it seems much more likely to make problems.
