Black Desert Online free or not?

I've been told that BDO is free right now. When I type it up in the search bar, it shows free, but when I click in to the game page, it says I need to pay. Can somebody tell me if this is a bug or something I can fix? Or is this regional?

It's a bug, the free period ended January 6.

It has been given away free multiple times over the years like this. In fact, I got my copy...
