A help advice for hacked accounts
hello , on 13th of December a hacker got into all of my emails , signed in via them through all of my accounts , changed the email and passwords of them all , luckily steam were the only people who responded to me and returned back my account, but for both epic games and Ubisoft account, i gave them every single detail that proves i am the owner of the account , and still they say that they couldn't prove that as they think that i either give them some of my information wrong , or they cant recover it due to security concerns , does anyone have an advice , because its the 5th time i raise a ticket to each of them .

The linking is done on their end. You will need to keep talking to them in order to unlink the accounts.

:nkCool:
i dont get it , you mean i should report to both of these companies so many times in order for them to respond ! , how is that even practical action from these companies , so there are any hope other than talking to them again and again and that's it ?:steamsad:
did that happen to you too ??

Yes you have to keep talking to them. Ultimately if you can't provide the exact details they ask for they won't give you access to the accounts. The same happens on Steam.

but iam sure that i gave them at least 90 % of my data correct
i provided them
1-my email i created the account with

2-the Facebook account that linked to the epic games ( but i told them that i don't remember exactly when i did that as in the form the date was required )

3- 7 or 8 purchases IDs from my old transections that i made before , and the most recent transection too

4- the first display name i created and the last display name that i had

5- information of 2 bank cards that i used

6- which country i created the email first time , and the country i logged in from the last time

7- 2 of my friends that i used to play with most of my time via that account .

8- screenshots of the emails i received when the hacker changed the account data

i did this 8 times and their answer was always this :

Hi there, Thanks for replying to me. While I cannot disclose account information since that would compromise our security system, but to share some insight, some information you provided did not match what we have on file for the Epic account. Since the information didn't match or the details were insufficient, sadly, the verification could not be completed successfully.

What I can recommend is to try again later since account verifications are reviewed individually. On your next attempt, ensure that you provide as many details as possible. You are more than welcome to resubmit a request again through the Account Recovery page. Moreover, it is recommended submitting the request when you are connected to the same network you are using to play.

Thank you for reaching out to us despite this, nonetheless, and I hope you understand our security-related concerns here.

You basically have not given them old enough proof. Purchases and payment methods that were done when the account was first created. This proof only gets less sufficient the more time between account creation and when those actions took place.

Same year isn't when the account was created.

I did have a login issue with Epic one time and it took a purchase receipt from the day I created the account for them to let me back in to the account.

It's not concrete evidence unless you have something from the account creation.

I don't have a FB account. I deleted that over a decade ago. It was never linked to anything.

We both know that’s not how it happened. Trying to shift the blame won’t work, and no one will buy into the idea that you aren’t fully responsible.

what do you mean by that (that’s not how it happened) i am telling you the truth i didnt even use my PC for the period of that hacker got in , like i was not using internet for like 3 months before that happen due to my work conditions , and once iam home , i found out the entire situation after 1 week of the hacking process already ! iam here asking for advice if somebody has a solution or a previous experience with that , not blaming anyone here , but what actually happened that both of the companies didnt respond to me
I see you're still stuck in Phase One.

Denial’s a tough cage to break out of. You’ll figure it out ... eventually.

Wait. I thought Epic's Support was superior to Steam's. Could I have been misinformed this whole time?
