Question: Listing Trading Cards for Delisted Games on the Community Market
Hey everyone,

I’ve got a question about trading cards from delisted games. If a game gets delisted, is it still possible to list its trading cards on the Steam Community Market? I’ve noticed I can’t find an option to list some cards from a delisted game anymore.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround, or are these cards just not marketable once the game is delisted?

Thanks in advance for any insights

No, you cannot list cards for de-listed games on the market. You can still do other things such as craft the badge, create booster packs, and trade them with others.

Head to the game's trade forum and see what you can get for them.

If the option is hidden on the card, it may not be some cleverness test. It may depend on the circumstances of the delisting because cards and the like generate revenue for the developer as well and depending on the circumstances that may not be appropriate which could disqualify cards and other game inventory items from being marketable.
Well, limited accounts can't use the Market anyways.

Oh wow, so smart—thanks for the info! Asking for my main anyway, haha. Using forums is a bit risky, y’know? Never know what mods might flag or ban you for. Been banned before just for posting a Heisenberg ASCII on the off-topic forum—reason? 'Off-topic,' of course. Anyway, back on topic, so I don’t get hit with ‘derailing’ my own discussion this time, lol.

Yeah whenever I go to list them on market, it doesn’t shows me the option to do so. It just doesn’t shows up in my inventory when I am about to list them on market (These are Forza horizon 4 trade cards btw)

Forza Horizon 4 Trading Card

This item can no longer be bought or sold on the Community Market.
