Button Stuck on turbo mode in steam input with Xbox controller profile

I'm on Linux Mint with Vanilla Steam and not Sniper or Proton and playing Stalcraft: X if any of that is relevant which it very well might be but so far everything just works and I hadn't any reason to suspect that

So first it was my reload button and a guy suggested I delete the command completely and replace it and if that didn't work scrap the profile and build it again to shake the bug and that worked for the reload button (X) but now its happening with (LB) which is the quick use radial menu

So it brings it up but flashes open and closed like the button is on turbo when I need to hold it open, I've tried deleting the command entirely do I really need to scrap another profile config and build from scratch a third time to build a controller config profile that doesn't have any bugs?

Surely there's a better way to do this?
Am I missing something?

I've made 3 controller profiles now and this bug is persistent. someone please help me I'm losing my mind here this should not be so hard man

like my profile only remaps buttons sticks and bumpers to keyboard and mouse with a single action layer for when the mouse is showing that also just remaps keyboard and mouse stuff
