Scam or real?
Today a 'Valve employee' sent me a message thru steam chat:

This user asked you to vote for a team in the FACEIT tournament. You were redirected from the FACEIT site to a fake site and registered there. This user will get a STEAM community ban, we will fix it, just follow my instructions
You gave acces on your account to Scammers via fishy link. Your account has caused $2,000 worth of damage to other users. We won't let this continue because scammers are using your profile and scamming other users.
When you registered on the fishy link you put guard code,so scammers used this code to sign in,after that they used your account to scam other people, because there are a lot of people who think if you have skins, you can't be scammer.
Your account will now be rebooted, don’t worry, you won’t lose anything, it will take 5 minutes of your time and you can continue to enjoy the game on the Steam platform! I have to do this process to collect all data about suspicious activity on your account.
At this moment reboot process affect tradeable items so,that's why I've contacted you.

You are being scammed. Your account is compromised and until you fix it, ANY trades will be stolen from you....

Do NOT trade or authorize ANY trades until it is repaired.

Do the following steps:

Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Change your password on a secure device.

Generate new back up codes. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Revoke the api key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

And maybe think about how someone has gained access to your account.

Let's say a random stranger walked up to you and said, "I need to see your credit card and take a picture of it, including the CVV. Don't worry, I'm from the bank, and I won't use your credit card number to buy a new TV."

Would you do it?
