Steam displaying incorrect glyphs for Xbox Controller

Basically the outline behind the LT button is that of the RT button and vice versa. Its showing the incorrect shape behind the letters, in simple terms. This is a problem within the steam controller bindings, as well as in game. How can I fix this?

My Steam app says that "you are currently rebinding your steam controller and may see incorrect glyphs." I have no idea what I rebound but I want to reset it, but there seems to be no option to do so. The bindings in game are correct, just the incorrect outlines irritate me.
